Short intensive workout that gets you fit, safely and quickly.

Suitable for a wide range of fitness levels, ages, body shapes and sizes- everyone is welcome.

MONDAYS 6-6:30pm starting Monday 4 February 2019

St.Mary's Church Hall, Turallo Terrace, Bungendore, NSW.

COST:$13 per 30 minute class; $110 for 10 class pass or $350 for 35 class GOLD PASS.

Since going to Nora's Fast Fit sessions I have noticed an improvement in my fitness and energy levels. I also think my blood circulation is better which helps my varicose veins, and I seem to find it easier to keep warm on cold winter days.J M

APPROACH

The approach is to try to accommodate & include everyone's different fitness levels, as much as is possible.
It's all about moving, making it enjoyable & raising your fitness level from wherever it might be at & also convenience.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Work clothes are fine; gym clothes, anything you like.
We will be ditching the shoes and dancing barefoot or socks on very thick rubber mats for safety & comfort. 

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

  • Simple warm-ups to music (see film below)
  • Joint stretches to music
  • Cardio High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) - simple movements with running on the spot to raise your heart rate, with hand weights optional.
  • Strength & flexibility routines - jumps, lunges, planks, wall-sits, squats - in time with the music, hand weights optional.
  • Stretching to finish.


WHAT IS HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT)?

High intensity Training (HIT) or Fast Fitness is a concept similar to interval training: Short bursts of very intense exercise incorporated into longer, slower recovery activity. This is a proven method for improving cardiovascular fitness in very short time periods, and will also activate your metabolism. Studies show that you need only 3 minutes of HIT per week to keep you fit.
