COST:$12 per 30 minute class

Suitable for a wide range of fitness levels, ages, body shapes and sizes- everyone is welcome.

Wear loose clothing and socks. Most exercises are done on gym mats to reduce knee/ hip impact.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
We will do:

  • Simple warm-ups to music
  • Joint stretches to music
  • Cardio dances - simple movements with running on the spot to raise your heart rate, with hand weights optional.
  • Strength & flexibility routines - jumps, lunges, planks, wall-sits, squats - in time with the music, hand weights optional.
  • Stretching to finish.




APPROACH

The approach is to try to accommodate & include everyone's different fitness levels, as much as is possible.
It's all about moving, making it enjoyable & raising your fitness level from wherever it might be at & also convenience.

WHAT TO WEAR?
Work clothes are fine; gym clothes, anything you like.
We will be ditching the shoes and dancing barefoot or socks on very thick rubber mats for safety & comfort.

WHAT IS HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (HIT)?

High intensity Training (HIT) or Fast Fitness is a concept similar to interval training: Short bursts of very intense exercise incorporated into longer, slower recovery activity. This is a proven method for improving cardiovascular fitness in very short time periods, and will also activate your metabolism. Studies show that you need only 3 minutes of HIT per week to keep you fit.
